3D modeling and sculpting are the ways of life in artistry

A 3D artist is a highly and skillfully talented professional who artistically makes excellent sculptures and models. When you experienced seeing the CGI animated TV shows, video games with 3D-rendered graphics, movies and internet with the fusion of X,Y and Z axis, they featured models in a three-dimensional scale based on their traditional designs and conceptual artworks. Created by the prolific 3D modelers and sculptors, these 3D artworks are computer-generated images, including the physically modeled ones, and their physics and animations are visually represented and compared to seeing anything and anywhere with your own eyes.


Searching for a professional, versatile, prolific and self-directed 3D artist is importantly needed for Psoaic to help make the 3D art style improved and beautiful in a fast-paced environment cooperatively and collaboratively. To apply this artistic position, the requirement is your own folio. Above all else, it would probably try originality, an iterative skill, and the artistic mastery of color, shape, form, anatomy and painting, and contain known examples that gives you an awareness and appreciation to see more through any professional and collaborative means, especially our Intellectual Properties.

Responsibilities
  • Sculpting and modelling art designs.

  • Digitally modelling and sculpting hi-res 3D models in Blender 3D, Autodesk Alias, 3D-Coat, Mudbox, Maya, ZBrush and other digital sculpting software.

  • Making clean, low-res computer and video game topology, UVs and textures.

  • Collaboratively working with animators to create 3D motions for characters that can believably move and perform actions.

  • While artistically making them moveable for game designs, animated shorts and other projects, having collaboration with multi-disciplinary design teams is possibly responsible to bring characters to life in 3D instead of 2D.

  • Revising/updating and improving 3D art designs with the help of concept artists to make changes of respective designs.

  • Submitting and iterating design to work and have possible solutions for each problem in a quick manner than normally creating them.

  • Involving self-management and awareness of the important things that really needed and required those ones around you.

  • Usually generating artistic ideas and using 3D art designs to share information about their descriptions to the team members as a form of communication.

  • Putting 3D models into games that render 2.5D graphics with the help of 2D animators and artists.

  • Staying updated with industry trends and techniques.

  • Continually developing their skills and knowledge to produce high-quality work.

Qualifications
  • 4 or more years of experience in a creative and artistic field, such as drawing, designing, illustrating, painting, rotoscoping, digitizing, modelling, or sketching things for video games, TV shows, animated shorts, or movies.

  • A strong foundation and background in traditional art skills, such as modeling and sculpting, and design.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • The ability to artistically make 3D models in a range of styles with an emphasis on 3D art designs that may be transitionally rendered from 2D to 3D.

  • Hard-surface modeling skills.

  • Inclusion of drawing, sketching, illustrating, painting, rotoscoping, digitizing and other traditional art skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of human, animal and creature anatomies you really understand.

  • Various working skills to revise gears faster if necessarily required.

  • With the important use of your communication abilities, maturely and succinctly describing your work in a processing stage, and conversing information to team by yourself are allowed.

  • A baccalaureate or bachelor's degree in computer graphics, animation, rigging, filming, modelling, sculpting, texturing, or a related field.

  • Working knowledge and excellence of the following list of 3D computer graphics software you understandably mastered on:
