Responsibilities
Creating original character concepts, developing detailed character, and producing sketches and illustrations for various stages of the character design process.
Collaboratively working with other artists and clients.
Taking direction and feedback.
Making revisions of a character design.
Staying updated with industry trends and techniques.
Continually developing their skills and knowledge to produce high-quality work.
Qualifications
4 or more years of experience in a creative and artistic field, such as drawing, designing, illustrating, painting, rotoscoping, digitizing, modelling, or sketching things for video games, TV shows, animated shorts, or movies.
A strong foundation in traditional art skills, such as drawing, painting, modelling, sculpting, and composition.
A bachelor's degree in arts, animation, or a related field, as well as a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates their skills and creativity.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A deep understanding of anatomy, movement, and form, as well as a strong grasp of color theory and composition.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as they will often work as part of a team with other artists and clients.
